Hooper's 150th / July 4th Parade

Late Entries

Late entries or day-of entries will be considered by 4:00 PM on parade day at the staging area, located at 601 E. Fulton St. in the Redeemer Lutheran Church parking lot.

Late entries will be placed toward the end of other participants, and the parade announcer located on Main Street may not know what to say about your entry.

Participant Instructions

1. Arrive at Redeemer Lutheran Church parking lot, 601 E. Fulton St., by 4:00 PM.
2. Locate Roxanne to receive further instructions and your assigned entry number.
3. No items may be thrown from a moving vehicle. Please have someone hand out items close to the curb for safety reasons.

Parade Route

The parade begins on Hickory Street after turning right out of the west entrance of the Redeemer Lutheran Church parking lot. It will continue west on East Fulton Street onto Main Street.

After the Parade

Parade participants should gather at the City Auditorium parking area on the west side after finishing their part in the parade.

If you need to leave Hooper immediately, travel north out of Hooper to County Road F, also known as the Scribner-Herman Road. Please do not travel south on Main Street against the parade route.

Otherwise, spend some time at the park and enjoy the pie and ice cream social before heading back the way you came.
