About the Fireworks Show
This year’s fireworks show will be historic as Hooper commemorates the United States’ 250th anniversary and Hooper’s 150th anniversary.
JD’s Fireworks, LLC has gone above and beyond to map out a spectacular aerial display. The evening will be highlighted with bright colors, big booms, and plenty of sparkle for the whole community to enjoy.
For the safety of the pyrotechnic technicians and those viewing the show, the fireworks display has been relocated to the east side of Hooper.
Suggested Viewing Areas
Around Town
Almost any yard in town will be a great spot to watch the spectacular show with family and friends.
Hooper Walking/Biking Trail
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a clear view from the grassy area along the trail. This tree-free area offers some of the best viewing.
Reminder: Motorized vehicles are not allowed on the trail.
Hooper City Park
If you have a favorite spot at the park, you will not be disappointed. Once it gets dark, turn your chair to face east and enjoy the show.
Redeemer Lutheran Church Parking Lot
601 E Fulton Street
This is a wonderful open spot for an up-close encounter with the booms and sparkles. There will be no parking in the lot, but guests may bring lawn chairs and blankets.
